Privacy Policy

The short version

Your music is yours. We do not collect, upload or store your audio, samples or projects, and we never use anything you make with StudioPilot to train any AI. We keep only what we need to give you access to what you bought and to run your account.

What we collect

  • Your email address, so you can sign in and so we can send your purchase, your downloads and support replies.
  • Purchase and subscription records, so we know what you have access to.
  • App usage totals for subscribers, meaning the number and size of AI requests, so we can calculate your monthly credits. This records how much work was done, not what your music sounds like.
  • Basic website analytics, such as which pages are visited, to understand what is useful.

What we never collect

Your audio files, samples, project files and finished tracks stay on your own computer. We do not upload them, we do not store them, and we do not use them to train any AI model. Nothing you create is kept, shared or sold.

When you use the app, it reads what it needs from your session to carry out the task you asked for, and that is it.

One exception, so this page is completely straight with you: the app can turn a track into a sample pack. If you use that feature, the audio file you choose is uploaded to the specialist service that performs the stem split, and the results come straight back to you. That service states it does not use uploaded files to train AI and does not share them with anyone. Everything else you make and work on stays on your machine.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of trusted services to run StudioPilot, and they only receive what they need to do their job:

  • Stripe handles payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.
  • A secure database service stores your account and purchase records.
  • An email delivery service sends our emails, including sign-in codes and support replies.
  • Our AI provider processes the instructions you type in the app so it can carry them out in your session.
  • A stem separation servicepowers the app's create-a-pack-from-a-track feature. It receives only the audio file you choose to upload, and states it does not use uploads for AI training or share them with anyone.

We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

Advertising and analytics

We run ads to reach new producers, and we use tools from Meta, TikTok and Google to tell us whether those ads actually work. These tools use cookies to count things like visits and purchases.

When you buy something, we send a scrambled version of your email address (a hash, which cannot be read back) to these platforms so they can count the sale against the right ad. That is all it is used for. They never receive your music, your projects, or anything you create.

We also keep a small cookie that remembers where you first heard about us, use Vercel Analytics to see which pages people visit, and use Rewardful to credit our affiliates when someone they referred makes a purchase.

If you would rather not see personalised ads, you can opt out in your Meta ad settings, your Google ad settings, or for many networks at once at youradchoices.com.

Emails

We send you two kinds of email: essential ones about your account and purchases, and occasional updates, tips and free packs. Every update email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time without losing access to anything you have bought.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data. Just email us and we will sort it, no forms and no fuss. Some records, such as proof of purchase, may need to be kept for accounting purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Some cookies also come from the advertising tools described above, so we can tell which ads led to a sale. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though signing in will not work without them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
